Year 3
Year 3 have had yet another fantastic week of learning! On Monday, we had a visitor in who taught the children all about our forces and magnets topic for Science. Children showed how magnets attract and how forces move an object using their bodies. Children have also had a fantastic week of practicing hard for our harvest festival which is coming on school. Most children have started to learn their lines by heart and each child is really using their fantastic singing voices for our harvest songs! In maths, children have been comparing and ordering numbers to 1000 and adding and subtracting 1s and 10s. In art, there has been a lot of exploration with paint using tints and tones. In music, children have been practicing writing their own lyrics to their ballads and have been showing the collaboration value especially in this lesson by sharing their amazing ideas.
