Year 3 News
This week in Year 3, we've had a fantastic time learning across all subjects! In Maths, the children tackled multiplying two-digit numbers by one-digit numbers with exchanges where both Mrs Beesley and Mr Williams were impressed by how hard both classes worked! In English, we explored the features of newspapers as part of our book Call Me Lion. Our Geography lessons took us on a journey from Bebington to the Atacama Desert as we compared rainfall patterns in these contrasting locations. Science was hands-on and fascinating as the children dissected daffodils to explore the different parts of a flowering plant. In PE, the children continued developing their agility skills and practiced a variety of yoga poses. Computing sessions were full of excitement as the children enjoyed creating codes in Scratch. Finally, in Spanish, we built on our knowledge of colours and started learning shapes. Well done, Year 3, for a brilliant week!
