Clubs Offer

At Brackenwood Junior School, Physical Education (PE) and sports have a high profile and permeate many aspects of school life. We host regular school sports days each year, creating exciting opportunities for all pupils to participate and showcase their skills.

Extra-Curricular Opportunities

We offer a variety of extra-curricular sporting activities before and after school, as well as during lunchtimes. We run Active Play at lunchtime (A club that teaches resilience and teamwork through teambuilding tasks and games.)

Extra-curricular sessions are organised by our dedicated teaching staff and sports coach from Full of Beans. Pupils can explore and enjoy a wide range of sports, including:

Collaborations with External Agencies

To enhance the variety of activities available, we collaborate with external agencies. For example, Tranmere Rovers Football Club hosts football competitions, allowing children from different primary schools to play matches on their grounds. Talented children are signposted to local clubs and events to help them develop their skills further. Our cross-country team participates in many races across the Wirral, demonstrating remarkable dedication and perseverance. These young runners consistently show outstanding sportsmanship, determination, and a strong team spirit, making us incredibly proud.

Join Our Clubs

We are committed to providing a wide range of extra-curricular clubs throughout the year. These clubs offer children the chance to work with different teachers and try out various sports. Check out our clubs offer and sign up this term to be a part of our vibrant sports community!
