Year 3 News
This week in Year 3, the children have been working incredibly hard across all subjects! In English, they have impressed us with their fantastic setting descriptions, using ENPs (expanded noun phrases), prepositions, their five senses, and conjunctions to bring their chosen planets to life. In Maths, we've been deepening our understanding of fractions, confidently identifying numerators and denominators, and learning to add and subtract both unit and non-unit fractions. In PE, we wrapped up our golf and tennis topics with some fun, skills-based games to show off everything we've learned. In DT, the children completed their wearable technology projects by designing and creating point-of-sale badges to promote their innovative designs. In Science, we continued exploring the fascinating world of animal skeletons, learning to identify different types and naming key bones. Lastly, in RE, we delved into our Easter topic, learning about the 12 disciples and the significance of Palm Sunday. We are so proud of the children’s hard work this half term and wish all our families a restful and enjoyable break!
