Year 3 News
This week in Year 3, the children have been incredibly busy and have worked so hard! We are incredibly proud of them.
In English, we drafted, edited, and published our diary entries inspired by the book Call Me Lion. The children worked exceptionally hard to make this their best piece of writing yet. In Maths, we focused on mastering our 10 times table and began learning how to multiply a two-digit number by a one-digit number without exchanging. In Geography, the children researched animals of the Atacama Desert and explored how these fascinating creatures have adapted to survive in such extreme conditions. In Music, we continued our exciting topic of singing like Viking warriors, and in Art, we explored analogous colours, blending beautifully with pastel crayons. For PE, our mindfulness yoga practice continued alongside athletics, where the children enjoyed racing over hurdles. Finally, in Spanish, we started learning different colours and practiced pronouncing them correctly. It has been a fantastic week of learning!
