    Welcome to Brackenwood Junior School

Welcome to Brackenwood Junior School - a two-form entry academy in the heart of Bebington catering for children aged 7—11. We are proud members of the Oak Trees Multi-Academy Trust, working in close collaboration with six other schools: Stanton Road, Church Drive, Poulton Lancelyn, Egremont, Great Meols and Greasby Juniors. We work closely with these schools at all times and are very well supported by the trust.

Brackenwood Junior School aims to provide every child with rich and relevant learning opportunities through a curriculum which promotes breadth, balance, creativity, collaboration and enterprise. We are committed to meeting the individual needs of all pupils in a safe, exciting and stimulating environment. We are a very happy and supportive school and strive to overcome any barriers to learning that our children may face. We are very much committed to enabling our children to develop the skills and character strengths needed to succeed during the next phase of their education and we have high expectations of what children can achieve. We hope all our children adopt safe and healthy lifestyles, develop resilience and confidence, value and respect others and are given the best possible chance to go on and achieve their hopes and ambitions.

We value strong parental links. We have an active parent association (Brackenwood Funding Group)  and we welcome parents into school for a range of events, workshops and celebrations.  We warmly welcome visitors to the school - if you would like to find out more about our school or would like to see us in action, please do not hesitate to contact the office to arrange a visit.
