The Brackenwood Fundraising Group is set up to help make money for Brackenwood Junior School. We organise events such as discos and school fairs, helping to give the children more happy memories of their time at Brackenwood Juniors. The money we raise helps to subsidise the cost of extra-curricular activities such as school trips and sports days. All parents and carers are welcome to join the group. Whether you can do a little or a lot, your help will be appreciated.

Laura Perry

Hi I'm Laura, I live in Bebington with my husband James and our children Elise & Deacon. Elise is at Brackenwood Junior School and Deacon goes to Pulford Playgroup.
This is my third year with the BFG and my responsibility within the group is to keep our Twitter account up to date with news, information & other things you might find useful.

I love tweeting “sneak peeks“ and behind the scenes photos and hopefully this gives parents & carers an insight into our work and lets you all know what we’re up to next!

Lianne Watkinson

I am Lianne, my son Frazer is in Y4. I joined the BFG in 2016 and I am responsible for general admin duties including insurance renewals etc. My favourite event is the Halloween Disco!

Tracy Callander

I'm Tracy and have been with the BFG for 4 years. My son Aaron is currently in year 3, and my eldest son Ethan has just moved to secondary school this year. I am the BFG Secretary/school liaison.

My favourite BFG event has to be the year 6 leaver’s disco, as it’s so rewarding to be part of an event which gives pupils precious memories of their time at primary school.

Vicky Tierney

I am Vicky, I've been with the BFG for 5 years now. Part of my role within the BFG is to create our Newsletters to keep you all up to date about our fundraising events.

My son Joel is currently in year 3 and my eldest daughter Abby has just started high school.

My favourite event is the Halloween Disco, I love seeing all the children in their costumes and their creative pumpkin carvings.
I also love the Summer Fair, it makes all the hard work and preparations worthwhile getting to see families enjoying the fun & games together.

Emma Conway

Hi I'm Emma. I'm new to the BFG, joining in 2019.

My daughter Katie is due to start Y3 in September, and I have another daughter Holly in Y1 at Brackenwood Infants so she will eventually be at the junior school too. I'm hoping to be able to contribute and help out when I can with fundraising events.

I'm looking forward to the Summer Fair this year, and hope to see you at other events in the future.
